Summer 2024

So you're interested in becoming an EMT eh?

Summer class is currently full! Please place your name on the waitlist for any respective lab session you're available for at the bottom of this page. If there are any openings, we will contact those waitlists.

  • Summer 2024 applications will open March 4th!

  • Class will run from May 13th to August 11th 2024. Find Summer 2024 Syllabus here

  • 4 hour online lectures once a week (Mondays/(sometimes Wednesdays 4-8 pm) [Must be present. Not Recorded]

  • 3 hour in-person labs once a week, sometimes twice a week. (Pick one)

    • Tuesdays/(Sometimes Thursdays) 8-11 am

    • Tuesdays/(Sometimes Thursdays) 5-8 pm

    • Saturdays/(Sometimes Sundays) 8-11 am

    • Saturdays/(Sometimes Sundays) 11-2 pm

  • $1200 via credit card or $1150 via cash/check/zelle tuition is due two weeks prior to first day of class

  • Must be 18 years old (by the time you challenge the NREMT) without any major felonies.

  • A social security number is mandatory when becoming a licensed EMT in Illinois

  • You do not need additional prerequisites for this course. (no interview, no test)

    • You will need to obtain your immunization records and a recent TB test​

  • Passing this course will allow you to challenge the NREMT certification exam

  • Applications will not be looked at without the non-refundable $50 application fee on eventbrite

  • You will receive the link to the application once the application fee is paid

    • Please check your spam folder if you don't receive an automatic reply upon payment of application fee.​

  • If the lab session you're interested in is full, please join the waitlist (for free) to be notified when there are openings.

In addition to lecture and lab, students will participate in at least 40 hours of clinical experiences with various hospitals and ambulance companies
