So you're interested in becoming an EMT eh?

Fall 2023 applications will open June 5th!
August 15th to January 9th
4 hour online lectures once a week (Tuesdays 4-8 pm)
3 hour in-person labs once a week. (Pick one)
- Thursdays 8-11 am
- Thursdays 5-8 pm
- Saturdays 9-12 pm
- Saturdays 12-3 pm
$1200 tuition is due two weeks prior to first day of class
Must be 18 years old (by the time you challenge the NREMT) without any major felonies.
A social security number is mandatory when becoming a licensed EMT in Illinois
You do not need additional prerequisites for this course. (no interview, no test)
- You will need to obtain your immunization records and a recent TB test
Passing this course will allow you to challenge the NREMT certification exam
Applications will not be looked at without the non-refundable $50 application fee

In addition to lecture and lab, students will participate in at least 32 hours of clinical experiences with various hospitals and ambulance companies
